Now run by the third and fourth generations of the Faulkner family, we are happy to celebrate 90 years of exceptional customer and employee satisfaction. 1932 - Henry Faulkner, Inc. opens as an Oldsmobile dealership in Philadelphia, PA.

1974 | HISTORY

Faulkner BMW opens in Lancaster, PA.

1977 | HISTORY

Henry Faulkner III is elected as Pennsylvania Automotive Association Chairman.

1978 | HISTORY

Faulkner Chevrolet and Cadillac open in Bethlehem, PA.

1979 | AWARD

Henry Faulkner III is awarded the Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award (TMQDA) by Time Magazine.

1981 | HISTORY

Faulkner Cadillac opens in Trevose, PA.

1982 | AWARD

Henry receives the Cadillac Master Dealer award and is inducted into the Cadillac Hall of Fame.

1984 | AWARD

Henry is awarded the Cadillac Complete Customer Satisfaction Award.

1985 | HISTORY

Faulkner opens 4 new dealerships: Mazda in Philadelphia, Buick and GMC Trucks in Trevose and Subaru in Bethlehem. In this same year, the Automobile Trade Association of Greater Philadelphia elects Henry Faulkner III as President and Joe Faulkner as Treasurer.

1986 | AWARD

Henry Faulkner III is awarded the Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award (TMQDA) by Time Magazine for the second time. Faulkner GMC is also rated as a 5 Star Performer by GMC Truck Sales Guild.

1987 | HISTORY

Gail and Hank Faulkner assist in creating a new wing of the Abington Friends School in order to accommodate the growing class sizes.

1988 | HISTORY

Faulkner Honda opens its doors in Harrisburg and Faulkner Toyota/Scion opens in Trevose.

1989 | HISTORY

Faulkner opens its second Chevrolet location in Lancaster.

1990 | HISTORY

Faulkner Nissan of Harrisburg opens.

1992 | AWARD

Faulkner Honda receives the commitment to Satisfaction Award, Faulkner Hyundai receives the Hyundai CSI Award, and Faulkner Auto is nominated for Sports Illustrated All-Star Dealer Award.

1997 | HISTORY

Faulkner Toyota/Scion opens in Harrisburg, PA.

1998 | HISTORY

Faulkner opens Subaru and Mazda locations in Harrisburg.

2001 | AWARD

Henry Faulkner III was awarded the Alfred S. Frobese Award for his outstanding service and dedication to Abington Memorial Hospital by the Board of Trustees of Abington Memorial Hospital.

2002 | AWARD

Faulkner Automotive is ranked at 27th on the Top 100 Automotive News List. Faulkner Honda also receives the Honda President Award for Customer Service.

2004 | HISTORY

The Faulkner Library is added to Abington Friends School; 13,500 sq ft library that houses 25,586 print volumes, 20 print magazine subscriptions, over 800 e-books.

2007 | AWARD

Gail Faulkner is awarded the Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award (TMQDA) by Time Magazine.

2009 | HISTORY

Faulkner opens two new dealerships: Faulkner Nissan in Jenkintown and Faulkner Hyundai in Harrisburg.

2011 | HISTORY

Faulkner Hyundai opens in Philadelphia and Faulkner adds FIAT to their brand line up with a location in Harrisburg.

2012 | HISTORY

Faulkner enhances their community connection by donating 513 coats to Auto Dealers Caring for Kids Foundation's “Driving Away the Cold.” The Faulkner Family Foundation helps fight cancer by supporting “Fuel the Cure” and supports Abington Memorial Hospital Fund for Excellence in Oncology.

2013 | AWARD

Faulkner Buick GMC becomes the #1 Buick and GMC dealer in Pennsylvania. Faulkner Hyundai in Philadelphia ranked 14th on the Best Dealerships to Work For by Auto News. Faulkner Honda ranked 19th and Faulkner Subaru in Harrisburg ranked 33rd on the same list.

2014 | HISTORY

Faulkner welcomes Maserati to their family of dealerships.

2014 | AWARD

Faulkner Honda Harrisburg (12th), Nissan Harrisburg (16th), and Hyundai Philadelphia (27th) are all on the list of Best Dealerships to Work For by Auto News. Faulkner Mazda Trevose was also rated as Dealer Rater's Mazda Dealer of the Year for Pennsylvania.

2015 | AWARD

Faulkner Toyota of Trevose receives the Five Star Dealer Award from Edmunds.com.

2020 | HISTORY

Faulkner launches their Faulkner Direct program to provide a complete online car-buying experience at a time when visiting a physical location was not possible for many customers.
